KYRA Medical Reveals Auburn University Partnership Project at AORN 2025

Boston, MA — April 7th, 2025 — KYRA Medical is proud to announce a collaborative partnership with a combined cohort from Auburn University’s Schools of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial & Graphic Design. This joint project brought together undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students completing their Senior Projects to contribute to the research, design, and development of an innovative new medical device. The collaboration aimed to offer students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medical device development, working alongside KYRA Medical’s expert engineering and clinical teams.

The project officially completed with the launch of the first working prototype at AORN Expo 2025 in Boston, MA.
